Our styling and hire collection includes a selection of chairs, tables, cocktail furniture, bars, crockery, cutlery, lighting and decorative props to create the Wedding of your dreams.
We are based in Bundaberg, Queensland serving the Wide Bay, Burnett and Fraser Coast region.
Just as no two relationships are the same, we believe that no two weddings are the same and as such we strive for uniqueness, personal connection and a fully tailored service to suit the needs of every couple. Owner/Creative Director
Hi, I’m Jarred, Owner and Creative Director of Something Borrowed. I feel incredibly lucky to spend my time helping create beautiful celebrations and memorable moments for my clients. Styling and entertaining have always been passions of mine, and I love bringing together thoughtful details to create events that feel warm, personal, and unforgettable.
Originally from New Jersey, I spent several years living in Los Angeles working in fashion before moving to Australia in 2019. My background in customer experience, styling, and design has shaped the way I approach every event, with a strong focus on creating spaces that feel elevated while still relaxed and welcoming.
One of my favourite parts of this industry is seeing a vision come to life and watching people truly enjoy the atmosphere created around them. I love timeless styling, beautiful tablescapes, soft textures, candlelight, and all of the little details that make an event feel special and uniquely personal.
When I’m not busy creating, you’ll usually find me hosting family and friends at home on Síoraí Ranch, cooking elaborate dinners, spending time with my husband James, or dreaming up new ideas for future events and celebrations.
James
Co-Owner/Operations Manager
Hi, I’m James, Co-Owner of Something Borrowed. I was born and raised in Karalee, Queensland, and have worked with Queensland Rail for many years. I’ve always enjoyed practical work, problem solving, and being hands-on, which naturally flows into what I love most about working in events today.
Jarred and I met in 2017, before he later made the move to Australia, and together we’ve built a life in the Bundaberg region where we now call Síoraí Ranch home. While Jarred leads the creative side of the business, I love helping bring each event to life through the setup, logistics, and making sure everything runs smoothly on the day.
One of my favourite parts of weddings and events is seeing a space completely transform and watching people enjoy moments with their family and friends. I really enjoy being part of creating celebrations that feel relaxed, welcoming, and memorable for everyone involved.
Outside of Something Borrowed, you’ll usually find me working on projects around the ranch, spending time outdoors, travelling with Jarred, or enjoying quiet time at home with our animals, family, and friends.
